There is no Audio when playing an audio CD in the DVD drive

This is a very common problem, specially during new DVD drive installation.

For example, if a screen saver starts while a DVD movie is playing, you will only hear the audio. When you try to return from the screen saver ( by moving the mouse, for example ) the player may stop playing the DVD movie entirely.

To recover from this problem, you may need to exit and restart the player applet ( such as Windows Media player ) This is typically related to a problem with operating systems like Windows XP, and you may be able to fix this problem by updating Windows from the Microsoft website.
